How it works

When you choose a file, the browser hands this page access to it on your own computer. Reading, parsing and building the result all happen here, in the tab. The file never leaves the machine — there is nowhere for it to go: this site is static files only, with no backend to receive anything.

What that means in practice

You can open a whole mailbox even when it holds work correspondence, contracts or personal data: none of it leaves the device. It also means the limits are not ours but your device's — file size runs into available memory, and nothing else.

Is anything stored

No. Once you close the tab nothing is left in memory. There are no accounts and we never ask for your email address.
