About this conversion
A pile of .eml files is a list of messages that nobody can read as a list. Select the whole folder at once and it becomes a table you can sort, count and filter like any other spreadsheet.

You are not locked into CSV
The file is parsed once and stays open, so the format is picked at the end rather than the beginning: the same .eml can leave here as XLSX, ZIP, MBOX, PDF, HTML, TXT or JSON.
