MBOX to PDF — print messages from a mail archive
Open an mbox archive and save the messages as PDF through your browser's print dialog: headers, dates and text, in the order you filtered them.
About this conversion
PDF is what you need when a correspondence has to be read by someone without a mail client at all — a lawyer, an accountant, an archive. The messages are laid out one after another with their headers, so the result reads like a document rather than a data dump.

You are not locked into PDF
The file is parsed once and stays open, so the format is picked at the end rather than the beginning: the same .mbox can leave here as CSV, XLSX, ZIP, EML, HTML, TXT or JSON. Before that you can search it by subject or address, filter by year, sender and attachment type, mark the duplicates and look through the archive overview.
Questions
- Why the print dialog?
- It is the browser's own PDF writer, so the text stays selectable and the fonts stay correct. Choose "Save as PDF" as the destination.
- Can I export only part of the archive?
- Yes. Filter or search first — only the messages you can see are printed.
